The mission of the youth ministry at Faith United Methodist Church is to bring youth into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through:
Exploring Truth - We believe "the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword." This is the cornerstone. We desire for Scripture to become alive, relevant, applicable and understandable to the youth and leaders that come through the doors of the church (Hebrews 4:12).
Exemplifying Compassion - Jesus taught, "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." We aspire for our ministry to be reaching out to those in need both locally and globally (Matthew 25:45).
Expressing Faith - As Christians, we are called to live above the world's expectations and live according to God's great desire for our lives. Through role-modeling, service and Scripture, we attempt to live out our call from God to live above the world (Romans 12:2).
Experiencing Acceptance - We seek to step out of the cliques we associate ourselves with and step into the fullness of community in the body of Christ (Romans 12:4-6).
